#1. Press Win Key + R or search for Run from start menu

#2. Type "regedit" in the dialogue box and press Enter.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentConrolSet/Control/StorageDevicePolicy

#4. After reaching this path, you can see the Write Protection option.

#5. Click it on set the value to 0.

#1. Same like above,  Press Win Key + R or search for Cmd from start menu

#2. Type "cmd" in the dialogue box and press Enter.

  Command Prompt window will open.

#3. In that type "diskpart" and simply press Enter.

  Another Diskpart Cmd Window will opens.

#4. In that type "list disk"

#5. Now you will see the drives in your computer. check your your drive number.

#6. In default it will be 1. So type "Select disk 1" and it will select your Memory card or pen drive.


#7. After that type "attributes disk clear read-only" and press Enter button.

#8. Exit from command prompt window and simply format your SD card or USB.

You are done, completed. Now your memory card write protection error will be removed completely.
